Ross and Polly Scott are keen to share the history and taonga of the Longest Place Name with anyone who is interested. To share the connection, they have to this incredible land and landmark in Central Hawke’s Bay.
They are opening access to their farm just south of Porangahau. Famous for holding the title of the World’s longest place name but far more special in terms of the local history and importance it holds for Ngati Kere and their Porangahau community.
They are humble, special people, wanting to build a legacy for their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
